If the steering responsiveness was better, it would be a perfect tire. Had vehicle checked out, mechanically perfect, so it must be the tire. Very quiet and smooth ride.

I would say that these tires have performed well above their price range so far. If they last for 70,000 miles, I would be even happier with them. Bottom Line: For the money, I am impressed with the quality. I have a feeling Hankook tires will be far more common within a few years. I keep my tires at the maximum rated pressure. If you want a smoother ride, sacrifice some performance by going 5 lbs. less.

After installation of the tires we experience a more comfortable ride, even that the tires on highway make a noise like taking off on an airplane. But, we are happy whit them.

Can not really comment on the tire at this point do to low miles. To compare to tires that were on the car would not be fair as they were on the car sitting for 10 years. I will say that the price point was great, they were the only tires with white walls I could find that would fit my 1960 T Bird at this price.

To be fair, these hankook optimo tires went on my "winter rat"; the car I only drive in the winter and other bad weather. So for the most part in improved most everything from traction to handling. The noise level was negligible as this is an old car and to hear anything about the wind and rattle noise is tough. With that said, I am going to be looking to replace tires on another vehicle of mine soon and would definitely look into the Hankook line again. I think there is no better value for your dollar.
